Your Benefits Broker Should Save You More Than They Cost.
Most employers overpay for benefits — not because they’re careless, but because they don’t have an expert in their corner at renewal time. JS Benefits Group delivers measurable, documented savings through smarter plan design, aggressive carrier negotiation, and compliance that prevents costly mistakes.

The Numbers Are Staggering.
Healthcare costs are projected to rise 7–8% in 2026, yet 67% of employers renew without ever shopping the market — because carriers count on that inertia. We don’t let that happen. From level-funded plan design to ACA compliance, our clients typically save 15–30% in year one — and every service is included at no additional cost.

Real Employers. Real Savings.
A Pennsylvania manufacturer with 145 employees saved $187,000 in year one. A New Jersey firm avoided $94,500 in IRS penalties. A Delaware healthcare organization reduced premiums by 22% — while employees actually preferred the new plan.

Find Out What You’re Leaving on the Table.
A free benefits analysis takes less than an hour and shows you exactly what your current plan is costing you — and what a smarter strategy would save. No pressure. No obligation. Just numbers.

How Office Politics Impact Your Workplace

Most organizations today try to limit politics as much as they can in the workplace. The obvious rationale behind this decision is to help employees focus on their work rather than bicker over things and find ways to trump each other.

Disruptive politics in the workplace can involve different opinions from employees as well as the conniving nature of some employees to one up others in the firm to achieve better traction with the management.

All of this can be distracting and divisive for team members if it leads to the formation of teams and groups within the organization. In this article we look at some of the negative consequences of politics in the workplace. While managers have always restricted politics in the workplace, let us today look at the reasons behind their decision.

Division of Interests

Regardless of where politics originates from, it almost always leads to a division of interests among workers. Employees are unable to work harmoniously and cooperate with each other as they should in the workplace.

Contrasting interests usually mean that employees go on to form teams in the workplace which can further damage the unity of workers. Hence, teamwork is destroyed and you aren’t able to view and progressively work on group projects the same way again.

Distraction

Politics within the workplace are a source of distraction more than anything else. Even if the other members of your workplace aren’t involved in the feud directly, the politics and needless conflicts will distract them further and lead to a rise in problems experienced by them.

Other employees are indirectly seeped into the root of the problem and aren’t able to focus on work when there is endless politics around them. Employees spend time on activities they should avoid and end up damaging the overall productivity of the team.

Disciplinary Action

No manager likes giving their best performers a rap on the knuckles for excessively indulging in politics in the workplace. But when push comes to shove, you don’t have any other option left. If the politics aggravate and lead to office-wide feuds, managers have to step up and take disciplinary action to amend the situation.

The disciplinary action managers take should be the same across the board and should give employees a strict warning over the consequences of office politics in the workplace.

We at JS Benefits Group have worked with a number of clients from different industries to limit the impact of politics on workplace culture. You can get in touch with JS Benefits Group to discuss and devise a strategy that restricts politics.
