In my recent Forbes article, “Paying Closer Attention to Pharmacy Benefits”, I examine why employers should look more closely at the pharmacy component of their healthcare plans before making decisions about rising healthcare costs.
The article explores pharmacy spending, PBM compensation, formulary structures, specialty pharmacy management, pricing, contract terms, and the importance of understanding what is driving healthcare cost increases before deciding how those increases should be addressed.
